| The Propagumbhis | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Energetic Ska-Punk from Manchester UK |
The Propagumbis began in April 98 when two bands called All Bar None and Grover went on a joint tour around England. For a laugh they joined forces and learned two songs to play at the end of ABN and Grover sets, calling themselves The Propagumbhis. After playing in Brighton, Buz (Just One Life)said that if they could put together a full set of songs by August 98 he would put them on with Link 80 (from America). What happened as a result gives teenagers everywhere regular headaches! The Gumbhis have played around 50 gigs across the UK, and have played gigs with bands such as: Bad Manners, MU33O, Link 80, Goober Patrol, Vanilla Pod, Spy V`s Spy, just to mention a few. | |||||||||||||||||||

ABN broke up due to the Gumbys becoming full time ( although Grover are still together and have recently signed to Crackle Records).The Propagumbhis love to play anywhere in the UK and are active members in the healthy UK punk scene. Their first single was recorded by the infamous Wreckless Eric in an 8 track studio in Brighton in Jan 99.They have just come out of the recording studio with a new record (a split cd with Imbalance)which was recorded in Buxton by Andy from Dogpiss (Fat Wreck)which will be available through Blind Bear records on 4/3/2000.
